Studzinski Square Cleanup

Author Well it’s that time of year again. The Sons are looking for volunteers to help cleanup Studzinki Sq. The place has not been cleaned up since early spring. The weeds are over 3 feet high and some folks are begining to homestead the place.
We’ll be going over there on the 3rd of October at around 10A.M. to start cleaning up.

Installation Of Officers 2009 – 2010 Leigon Year
On September 12, 2009 after the Bathtub races, the Installation of Officers for the Legion year was held at 8P.M. A buffet diner was served after the ceremony.

Greenpoint Lions 1st Annual Bathtub Races
On September 12, 2009 the Greenpoint Lions Club held it’s first annual bathtub race. The post entered a custom built tub under the name of Captain Red Beard’s Express. It didn’t win any races, but it get a trophy for Best Original Design. We did get a rubber duck for losing the race.

Labor Day Barbque
On September 6, 2009 the post held it’s annual Labor Day Barbque. The turnout could have been better, I guess there were quite a few people out of town for the last un-official weekend of summer.
