ADOPT-A-UNIT
ADOPT-A-UNIT
Recently, one of our members has deployed to Afghanistan. This is after having already served multiple tours in Iraq. We believe that a strong supportive connection between the young men and women of our armed forces and the civilian communities they serve is crucial to troop morale. Soldiers enjoy the letters and care packages sent that express gratitude. Adopting a U.S. military unit is a great way to honor active military personal. We would like to support our member’s unit and send some of the items that are not readily accessible to them while serving at their current duty station. We would appreciate donations of items for the packages (we will also take monetary donations) from individuals, community organizations and businesses to assist us in this project.
Below are examples of the items that can and cannot be sent. The donations can be brought to the locations below on a date to be announced. If you have any questions please call or email us. Thank you for your support. God Bless You, God Bless Our Veterans, and God Bless America!

They want me to plan a reception earlier in the day, but I am unsure
whether we can afford to do that in Manhattan. In addition to the
fact that I have a Board Meeting in San Antonio, Texas and will not
return until the 15th.
Please help get the word out and email me at patt.terre@yahoo.com with
the name of the individuals or Association and how many will attend in
their party.
